Arg... MySQL is not the same as MS SQL
First I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving weekend, I sure did!
So as I mentioned earlier I'm working my new site in ASP.net 2.0 since my web hosting company supports it. Well I started programming it and getting the photo album created I found I needed to use a SQL database. Well with Visual Studio Web Devoloper that isn't a problem. The problem I had was when I went to go an import a new SQL database to the server. I found it wasn't MS SQL but MySQL, a pretty large difference. So now I am readind how to convert my MS SQL to MySQL database, and also having to modify some of the .NET programming in the web page to use the different database. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is going to be a little while longer to get my new and improved site up and running.
I've been going back home on the weekends and been slowly working my lego projects, I have so much planned out, maybe (and this is a large maybe) I can start one of my projects this summer. I've created a database with a project list with my new developing skills.
I sized up some new pictures of Kai but not yet uploaded them to the server, I'm thinking about migrating all the pictures to the Community Server so I can use larger sized photos (mainly less work for me). I just have to find the time to do the upload, the photos are pretty good sized and take some time to run the upload.
Also, In FFXI I'm level 29! I know I'm the worlds slowest player, its not easy to play a game of that magnitude and have a kid plus homework!
