Project 1 done and now I'm sick

I got my first project done for my kinematics and dynamics course. It was to create an eight-bar linkage that would that has a crank rocker on one side and transfers motion to a slider piston. I built all the code in MATLAB but later found out, two days before its due, that I did half of it wrong. So I ended up staying up through the night to reproduce the code so I can regenerate my link magnitudes and figures for the report. The following night I stayed up rather late to study for a fluid mechanics test. I think I did pretty good on it, but I haven't seen the scores or any of the results yet. Well after all that I ran myself down and got sick, so now I'm sitting at home nursing a cold.

While making the code for the K&D project, I created some functions in MATLAB so I can use them again in the future. I haven't done a lot of testing on all of them but I'm fairly certain they are correct. I currently have them set as revision one if you use MATLAB to solve mechanisms and would like to try them out, either to let me know if I'm correct or they need a lot of fixing. You can get the functions here. When you try to download any file you will need to register, so I can monitor who is doing what.

Also on Final Fantasy XI the new expansion has a few new jobs. The scholar looks pretty interesting, they will have the ability to use both white and black magic, and I would like to give it a shot when it released. There isn't a whole lot of information on it yet but you can read more about the scholar here.

I know I have a lot of pictures of Kai at my photogallery, and on facebook, but I haven't posted a picture of Kai for months now. So here is the little guy at one years old. This is a picture of Kai and me at the pumpkin patch.
